We are talking about it any way! I struggled with turning 50 years old. I felt as though I was walking through a one way trap door.

My 50th birthday was a great one and a very sad one. I did not ever imagine turning 50 years old without my mother turning 70. But I spent my birthday with two friends that I have known for over 40 years. It made the milestone very special, there were tears and laughter and mostly the tears were from laughter.
